sharper bridge that lands on Cali's home planet: the Fresh Start Effect's
"subjective new-beginning framing" instantiated as a field's self-rebranding,
with the dissociated "past self" being precisely the AI-winter the vault already
tracks. Novel vs. vault (max_cosine 0.765, adjacent) — the AI-winter cluster
exists but this fresh-start mapping does not.

## Further leads

- Does the Fresh Start / temporal-landmark literature (Dai, Milkman) extend to *collective* or organizational fresh starts? If so, the analogy hardens into a citation.
