integrator* (Tier 4) for its 1936 date, PDE/concrete-crack purpose, export list, and 1980s
service history.

**Result: yes, and the sourcing has moved above Tier 4 for the core facts, not merely
duplicated across a second Tier-4 page.** This session located and directly fetched (via
`archive_page`, never a search summary) a 2000 magazine article by O. Solovyova, a Polytechnic
Museum researcher, published in the long-running Russian science magazine *Наука и жизнь*
(*Science and Life*) — a named-author, institutionally-anchored account independent of both
English and Russian Wikipedia, which itself cites a now-dead-linked page on the Polytechnic
Museum's own site (archived but unreadable this session, see Further leads). A second,
independent Russian Wikipedia biographical article on Lukyanov the engineer was also fetched
and corroborates the same facts. A peer-reviewed 2018 IEEE conference paper on the same

encountered as a young railway engineer: cracking in concrete structures, which he suspected
(against initial professional skepticism) had a thermal origin governed by partial differential
equations that existing 1928-era methods could not solve quickly or accurately.

The article is explicitly framed by its own editorial note as a condensed reprint of a chapter
from an album-anthology on Moscow's engineering heritage produced by the Polytechnic Museum
itself, in cooperation with the Russian Academy of Sciences' heritage-preservation council —

service-history claim gains a specific new figure (115 organizations, 40 cities, mid-1970s;
displacement in the early 1980s) but that figure itself is still single-sourced and should
carry its own flag rather than inherit the now-resolved status of the rest of the note. A fifth
line of independent scholarship (the 2018 IEEE paper) exists and, on title alone, appears to
corroborate the same core facts, but could not be read this session and should not be cited
