## Claims

Clark essay) and Michael Polanyi were both participants in the Mont Pelerin Society**, the classical-liberal society Friedrich Hayek founded in 1947. Wikipedia's members list names "Pierre F. Goodrich" among "Other noted members" and "Michael Polanyi — Hungarian/British chemist, economist and philosopher of science" among "Other notable participants," alongside Karl Popper.
