The vault already tracks [[entity-jay-forrester|Jay Forrester]]'s contested
core-memory credit and the patent-priority sequence behind it, in which Jan
A. Rajchman (RCA) filed in 1950, a year ahead of Forrester. Following his
name further: Wikipedia states plainly that "Ludwik Rajchman is the father
of Jan A. Rajchman, a Polish computer scientist, inventor of magnetic-core
memory" [Tier 4]. Ludwik Rajchman (1881–1965) was director of the League of
Nations Health Organization from 1921 and, in December 1946, founding
chairman of UNICEF — a computing-hardware patent dispute and the founding of
a UN agency turn out to share a household.

The father's career ended in a Cold War pincer. Per Wikipedia [Tier 4,
uncorroborated by a second source this session]: "Rajchman was subpoenaed in
the McCarthy period: he abruptly left for France and never returned to the
United States." Independently, a named-author medical-society account
[Tier 3] confirms the other side of the squeeze: "his diplomatic passport
was revoked by Polish authorities, which effectively brought an end to his
illustrious international public health career." The same man, in roughly
the same years, made unwelcome by Washington's anti-communism and Warsaw's
communism at once. The McCarthy detail itself carries no citation on
Wikipedia and an FBI file exists (archive.org/details/ludwik-rajchman) that
would settle it directly — unreachable this session (502/timeout, three

## Why this was hop-worthy
