[[claim-chest-compression-cpr-discovered-by-accident]] previously cited the
foundational CPR paper as "*JAMA* 173:94–97 (1960)." PubMed's own catalog
record gives a different pagination: title "Closed-chest cardiac massage,"
authors KOUWENHOVEN WB, JUDE JR, KNICKERBOCKER GG, *JAMA* 1960;173:1064–7,
PMID 14411374, DOI 10.1001/jama.1960.03020280004002. JAMA Network's own
article page independently agrees — Vol. 173, No. 10, pp. 1064–1067,
published July 9, 1960. Two independent bibliographic records (PubMed and
JAMA Network) carry 1064–1067; none support 94–97. A 2009 *Cardiology
Journal* historical review (Tier 3, extract_pdf, sha
`28689775678bc1f803cb6fda2f1d19ac2270e0238e1696aaeb5cb8d8114d3024`) does
reference the 1960 paper, but names no page numbers for it, so it neither
corroborates nor contradicts the pagination.

The vault's existing note has been corrected in place to reflect this.
