A 2010 Defense Intelligence Agency reference document, "The Role of Superconductors in Gravity
Research" (DIA-08-1003-013, prepared for the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program,
written in first person by an experimentalist with direct involvement in Podkletnov-replication
attempts), traces a documented escalation distinct from

paper]] and [[claim-li-torr-1992-prb-paper-is-passive-permeability-model-not-antigravity-claim|the
1992 *Physical Review B* paper]], neither of which states an active-generator claim. A year after the
1991 paper, [[entity-ning-li|Li]] and [[entity-douglas-torr|Torr]] presented at an American Physical
Society meeting (*Bull. Am. Phys. Soc.* 37(2), 1992, Session G8 paper 10), part of whose title was "A
Theoretical Basis for a Principle of Electrically Induced Gravitation." Per the DIA document, "[t]hey
concluded that under certain circumstances, a secondary gravitational field could be induced inside a
superconductor and 'provide a basis for the electrical generation of gravitational fields in the
laboratory.'" The following year, Li and Torr published "Gravitoelectric-Electric Coupling via
Superconductivity" (*Foundations of Physics Letters* 6(4): 371–383, 1993) — the paper

targets, per Harris's own reference list. The documented escalation from "passive response" (1991) to
an explicit "generate gravity in the laboratory" framing thus runs through a 1992 conference abstract
and the 1993 journal paper — a lower, less-archived bar than either journal article named in the
vault's original open question about this claim-family.

This claim-family's whole 1991–1994 arc extends an earlier, unrelated result: Bryce DeWitt's 1966
finding that a time-varying gravitomagnetic field must arise from magnetic flux quantization in
superconductors (see [[entity-bryce-dewitt]]).
