Two independent primary oral histories (Charles Babbage Institute, 2012; Computer History Museum, 2016), each read in full, confirm the authorship claim in her own words years apart; the specific disclaimer quote attributed to Norman Hardy in secondary retellings does not appear, verbatim or in substance, in either transcript.
