industrial history. His piece "How ASML Got EUV" (2025-11-20) is the vault's
core source for correcting the Nikon/Canon EUV story: the documented reason
they never fielded EUV technology is exclusion from the EUV-LLC consortium
in the mid-1990s, not a demonstrated multi-decade technical failure to
imitate ASML/Zeiss's tacit know-how.
