Dutch journalist who travelled with Foreign Minister Max van der Stoel's delegation to Prague in 1977 and personally arranged the minister's meeting with dissident philosopher Jan Patočka.
Matters to this vault as the eyewitness the whole van der Stoel–Patočka dating question is ultimately measured against: he made his own contemporaneous audio recording of the 1 March 1977 meeting, a document distinct from — and, unlike — the archive's own unheard 1996 interview tape with van der Stoel.
