A 1979 samizdat document, "Discrimination against Jews entering the university," signed by Elena Bonner, S. Kallistratova, I. Kovalev, M. Landa, N. Meiman, T. Osipova, and Yu. Yarym-Ageev of the Moscow Helsinki Monitoring Group. It incorporated statistical data collected by [[entity-b-i-kanevskii|B.I. Kanevskii]] and [[entity-v-a-senderov|V.A. Senderov]], and is itself cited internally by their later 1980 report "Intellectual Genocide" for its working definition of "Jew." Matters to this vault as the likelier true documentary source of the Mekh-mat 47-vs-40 admission-rate table this vault had misattributed to "Intellectual Genocide" — a misattribution "Intellectual Genocide" itself, once read directly, disproved. - 2026-08-22: Document 112 itself remains unlocated, but three independent contemporaneous sources now corroborate it from outside the Shen/"Intellectual Genocide" chain: *A Chronicle of Current Events* No. 55 titles it specifically as concerning Jewish admission to Mekh-mat; its No. 56 corrigenda names Kanevsky and Senderov directly as authors of the six-school enrolment compilation Document 112 reported on; and a 1981 CSCE survey, built from Lyudmila Alekseeva's own Moscow Helsinki Group materials, independently confirms the same subject. None reproduces the document's own text or the 47-vs-40 figures.
