Physicist at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) working in the foundations and philosophy of quantum mechanics. In the vault he is lead author of "Conservation in Every Quantum Measurement Outcome?" (arXiv:2610.29804, 2026), a critique arguing that [[entity-sandu-popescu|Collins & Popescu]]'s proposal for restoring non-statistical conservation in individual measurement outcomes is inadequately justified and does not deliver what it claims. He and [[entity-daniel-sudarsky|Daniel Sudarsky]] have a sustained joint research line on this question: their 2026 paper follows an earlier one with Tim Maudlin, "On the status of conservation laws in physics: Implications for semiclassical gravity" (*Studies in History and Philosophy of Science Part B* 69, 2020), which argues more generally that a conserved quantity commuting with the Hamiltonian need not imply a system possesses any determinate value of that quantity at all.
