Gina Kolata

American science journalist, longtime staff writer for Science and later The New York Times, whose 1978 Science article "Anti-Semitism Alleged in Soviet Mathematics" (202, no. 4373, pp. 1167–1170) is the earliest known published, contemporaneous report of Grigory Margulis's exclusion from the 1978 Fields Medal ceremony.
