Harshvardhan J. Pandit

Researcher at Trinity College Dublin and the original creator of the W3C Data Privacy Vocabulary (DPV) — formalized in Pandit et al.'s 2019 OTM Conferences paper "Creating a Vocabulary for Data Privacy" (doi:10.1007/978-3-030-33246-4_44, not yet independently read by this vault).

Matters to this vault beyond co-authorship of any single paper: he is the standard-setter this entire GDNG-extension capture measures itself against, and the standard he created now anchors DPV extensions covering GDPR, the EU Data Governance Act, the EU AI Act, and (per this capture) the German Health Data Use Act and EHDS. He is also a co-author of Flake, Henke, Kuntz, Löbe, Pandit & Draeger's "Extending the W3C Data Privacy Vocabulary to Cover the German Health Data Use Act" (arXiv:2610.37527, 2026), which is this vault's only direct read of his work so far — his deeper, prior standing as DPV's founder is the fact worth not losing sight of when he's one name among six co-authors on this particular paper.
