Computational geometer credited, with Letscher and Zomorodian, with
introducing persistent homology in its modern computational form
("Topological persistence and simplification," 2002), and co-author with
John Harer of the standard reference *Computational Topology: An
Introduction* (2010). Matters to this vault as the foundational figure
every neural-network and historical-network persistent-homology diagnostic
in the vault's growing PH cluster ultimately builds its formalism on — a
figure the cluster had not yet given a page to, despite pages already
existing for several of the field's later co-authors.
