Ibn al-Banna al-Marrakushi

13th–14th-century Maghrebi mathematician and astronomer (fl. late 13th century, Marrakesh) best known for Talkhīṣ aʿmāl al-ḥisāb ("Summary of arithmetical operations") and his own commentary on it, Rafʿ al-ḥijāb, which together seeded a multi-generation commentarial tradition in North African arithmetic teaching.
