The UK's chartered professional body for actuaries (the Institute of Actuaries, founded 1848, later merged with the Faculty of Actuaries). Matters to this vault as a primary-source venue in its own right: it freely hosts, directly on `actuaries.org.uk`, page-range PDFs of its own *Journal of the Institute of Actuaries* back-catalog — including the first installment of Cornelius Walford's 1885 "History of Life Assurance in the United Kingdom," found this session where the equivalent JSTOR copy returned HTTP 403 without institutional access. A stronger and cheaper access route than JSTOR for this vault's actuarial-history cluster, worth checking first for any future Journal of the Institute of Actuaries citation.
