Israeli theoretical physicist, longtime collaborator of [[entity-yakir-aharonov|Yakir Aharonov]] and co-developer of the [[entity-weak-value|weak-value]] concept (Aharonov, Albert & Vaidman, 1988), the [[entity-two-state-vector-formalism|two-state vector formalism]], and protective measurement (with Aharonov, 1993). In the vault he anchors the formal apparatus — pre- and post-selection and weak values — underlying both Aharonov's 1988 "spin can turn out to be 100" result and the 2016 quantum pigeonhole principle.
