A wide-body airliner program (not, as an earlier vault draft mistakenly had it, a jet fighter) whose production history is the vault's flagship empirical case for learning-curve reversal: C. Lanier Benkard's 2000 econometric study of the L-1011 line is the source of the vault's only primary-sourced organizational-forgetting depreciation estimate. The program's incomplete spillovers between model variants (-1/-100/-200 vs. -500) are themselves part of what the estimate has to control for.
