LSN / ISN (Lenguaje de Signos Nicaragüense / Idioma de Signos Nicaragüense)

Kegl & Iwata's (1989) two-stage naming distinction within the Nicaraguan Sign Language literature: LSN (Lenguaje de Signos Nicaragüense) names the first cohort's partially-crystallized pidgin, ISN (Idioma de Signos Nicaragüense) the nativized creole the younger, second cohort produced from it. Surfaced this session (per Senghas 1995, pp. 36–37) as a lead worth a future, more granular claim-note — not yet worked up into one.
