Rosgidromet reported short-lived fission products (⁹¹Sr, ¹³⁹Ba, ¹⁴⁰Ba, ¹⁴⁰La) in the following weeks; CTBTO monitoring stations along the plume's modeled path went silent days later. The event is the vault's one real-world data point for Burevestnik radiological forensics, and it recurs across the Burevestnik-verification cluster — worth a dedicated page precisely because the accident's own details (ground vs. flight event, fission vs. activation products, which stations went dark and when) are load-bearing distinctions the cluster keeps having to re-derive.
