Robert Bogue
Long-tenured SharePoint developer and consultant who has written on his own blog, Thor Projects, about building on SharePoint continuously since its 2001 launch.
Matters to this vault as an independent, named, firsthand witness to SharePoint's 2001 architectural split — his 2011 recollection, written fifteen years before Jeff Reynar's 2026 retrospective existed, confirms that Portal Server (Exchange-engine-based, versioned documents) and Team Services (SQL-Server-based, unversioned lists) were genuinely different systems at the engineering level, corroborating the structural divergence Reynar describes without using or confirming his specific schema/population/maintenance framing of it.
