Physicist, lead author of "Critical behavior of a one-dimensional
fixed-energy stochastic sandpile" (2001, arXiv:cond-mat/0101381; *Physical
Review E* 64, 056104) — the paper Watkins et al. (2015) cite for the
Abelian Manna Model's "0.9488(5)" average-height figure. Read directly this
session, the paper turns out to report three distinct numerical estimates
of that critical density, none printed as "0.9488(5)" verbatim — see
[[claim-dickman-2001-critical-density-corroborates-not-exactly-matches-watkins-figure]].

Matters to this vault as the author whose own numbers, read closely, turned
a clean-looking review citation into a documented, honest precision gap —
the more interesting of this capture's two verification outcomes.
