Faculty member at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, and the middle co-author of [[entity-linda-argote|Argote, Beckman & Epple's]] 1990 *Management Science* paper, "The Persistence and Transfer of Learning in Industrial Settings" — the founding study this vault's entire [[entity-organizational-forgetting|organizational-forgetting]] cluster measures itself against. This vault's existing notes had consistently shorthanded the paper to "Argote et al.," under-naming Beckman relative to Argote and Epple; this page exists to stop doing that.

Known to the vault only through bibliographic citation so far — her own contribution to the 1990 paper's methodology (a labor-turnover term added to [[entity-leonard-rapping|Rapping's]] (1965) specification, per [[entity-peter-thompson|Thompson's]] 1997 description) has not been individually attributed to her versus her co-authors, and none of her own work has been read at primary by this vault.

> [!cali] Under the entity bar ruled 2026-10-01 (co-authorship alone is a mention, not a hub; see `00-meta/specs/entity-page-spec-v0.1.md`), this page rests only on co-writing the Argote, Beckman & Epple 1990 paper. Your call: fold the name into [[entity-linda-argote]] and the claim-notes, or say what standing of their own the vault has found.
