Philosopher of physics, affiliated with the Department of Philosophy at Stockholm University and the Institute of Physics / Vossius Center for History of Humanities and Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. His arXiv preprint "Diverging paths to dark-matter discovery" (arXiv:2610.14137, submitted 9 Oct 2026) combines a formal logical framework for what counts as "discovering" dark matter with a bibliometric analysis of 201,627 NASA ADS records tracking the WIMP's changing role in the literature.

Matters to this vault as the sole author of the primary source anchoring three claim-notes: [[claim-wimp-cross-field-bridging-role-weakened-since-2015]] (the WIMP's bibliometric centrality vs. its declining cross-field bridging role), [[claim-allzen-four-condition-dark-matter-discovery-framework]] (his four-condition logical framework for discovery claims), and [[claim-wimp-evidential-keystone-role-mid-1980s]] (the historical argument for the WIMP's "evidential keystone" role). This is Allzén's own argument and data analysis (Tier 1), unrefereed as of the capture date; the three notes reach the vault's single-source concentration cap on this one preprint — see [[question-corroborate-allzen-2610-14137-dark-matter-discovery-framework]]. He has an earlier, apparently closely related 2024 solo preprint ("Dark matter: Explanatory unification and historical continuity," arXiv:2412.13404), cited by the 2026 paper but not independently read by this vault yet.

## Updates
- 2026-10-18: A direct check of INSPIRE-HEP and Zenodo found zero independent citations and no sign of independent re-use of his reproduction bundle, eight days after arXiv:2610.14137 posted ([[claim-allzen-2610-14137-zero-citations-eight-days-post-posting]], [[claim-allzen-2610-14137-zenodo-reproduction-bundle-no-independent-reuse]]) — the single-source cap stays undischarged, but the absence is now a dated measurement rather than an assumption. Separately, his own CV (simonallzen.quarto.pub) adds fuller biographical grounding not previously recorded here: Ph.D. 2022 (Stockholm University); postdoc at Stockholm/Amsterdam since 2023; referee for *British Journal for the Philosophy of Science*, *Philosophy of Science*, and *Synthese*; a forthcoming Synthese-track paper, "Dark Matter Realism: How Referential Semantics Restricts Realism in Contemporary Fundamental Physics" (DOI 10.1007/s11229-026-05589-8, arXiv:2511.15484); a third preprint, "Bayesian Unification in the History of Dark Matter," under review at *Philosophy of Science*; and a Swedish Research Council international postdoc grant, "Dark Matter Diagnostics" (€360,000, 2023–2026), funding the broader research program both the 2024 and 2026 preprints come from. None of this is independent corroboration of arXiv:2610.14137 (same author), and none of the newly-listed papers or the grant page has been read directly by this vault yet — recorded here as biographical context, not promoted to a standalone claim-note.
