Warren Robinett

Video-game designer who, in 1979, hid a hidden room reading "Created by Warren Robinett" inside Atari's Adventure after Atari refused to publicly credit its designers on titles that, by his own account, earned the company "hundreds of millions" — widely cited as the first well-known video-game easter egg. Matters to this vault as a second case in its credit-misattribution cluster (alongside Monte Davidoff and Ann Hardy), and as the later, better-known half of a cross-decade pair with William Weiher's 1967–68 TOPS-10 hack, which predates it.
