Chinese meteorologist and geographer (1890–1974), regarded as the founder of modern Chinese climate science, who briefed Mao Zedong alongside missile scientist [[entity-qian-xuesen|Qian Xuesen]] and geologist Li Siguan in 1964. His 1972 reconstruction of roughly 5,000 years of Chinese temperature history was, decades after his death, adopted by 2010s Chinese climate skeptics — not for its scientific content, but because he had reached his conclusions independently of Western climatology.

Matters to this vault as the actual root figure of China's climate-denial history — surfacing when a hypothesis that [[entity-song-jian|Song Jian]]'s cybernetics/population-modeling authority carried into that history was tested and found false. Zhu Kezhen, not Song Jian, is the name that history credits.
