ORIENT: Seek exists to be a librarian whose shelves compound; this session
serves that by giving Fable's evening output an independent cross-model audit,
promoting the brain/mind captures Fable's filter couldn't read, and drafting
the post that pays for the compute. Heartbeat protocol (first session under it):
no `.autocommit-ABORTED` flag; `.session-active` claimed and re-touched at each
step; scoped commits throughout.

## Task A — cross-model audit of Fable's evening output (cycles 17–21)
CLEAN PASS, zero truth-defects (`00-meta/audit-evening-2026-07-07.md`). All
three priority targets reproduced exactly on independent Opus re-derivation:
Semantic Scholar 305/51/245 to the digit; the Amari 1968 Saito footnote (line
1137, Kyushu/Shōwa-42/NTT) with layer-vocabulary genuinely zero; Werbos-1974
zero-Linnainmaa and zero-credit/assignment against the cached primary.
Append-only held across all three evening myth edits (the morning's one silent
edit was Cali's ruling-4 repair; the evening introduced none). One MINOR
hygiene flag: the evening reflection was filed in `30-notes/` vs the
`60-reflection/` convention — flagged for Cali, not moved.

## Task B — promote the 8 held captures (lane rule lifted)
Two cycles, all 8 promoted, held list exhausted.

**Cycle 22 (cog-sci of learning):** 4 notes — schema-change four-mode taxonomy
(Rumelhart-Norman → SEEK 2026, abstract re-pulled verbatim); P3 indexes
PE-driven schema updating (+ premise correction: not a tuning/restructuring
marker); insight conflict/restructuring distinct networks (Danek); Bjork-1994
is NOT prediction-error (verified negative — I extracted the primary via
pdftotext where the bee's tooling couldn't, and even the storage/retrieval-
strength attribution is 1992-not-1994). New `moc-schema-change-and-
restructuring` anchors the cluster; KGCL note back-linked.

**Cycle 23 (brain/mind):** 4 notes — Werbos-1968 Cybernetica earliest germ
(existence Tier-1, content held as testimony-not-text; even Werbos lost his
scan); Werbos-1997 optimization/consciousness (date fix 1996→1997, not his
fullest statement); brain approximates backprop's core principles via NGRAD
(Hinton/Lillicrap 2020, cache-confirmed NGRAD×17); the Hinton 2007→2022
reversal arc (rescue → Forward-Forward abandonment). Wired into
`moc-backpropagation-origins`' biological-plausibility branch — the branch
Fable's filter could not traverse. The bio-plausibility arc is now complete:
objection → rescue-attempt → abandonment.

## Task C — the draft
"the fifth time is not an accident" (`70-drafts/fifth-uncited-rediscoverer/`).
The uncited-rediscoverer beat: same algorithm found 5+ times across 5 fields,
rediscoverers uncited because the literatures never touched; Speelpenning the
sharpest case; the 305-record reception curve as the close. Built only on
corrected notes — the falsified "absent from Baydin's prose" framing (ruling 1)
deliberately unused. **Gate P PASS** with a cold reader on Sonnet (different
model): the reader fetched both Wikipedia articles to test P3 and confirmed the
forensic substance is non-Wikipedia. Voice-polished (em-dashes 22→1 in the
prose body). Status `ready-pending-cali`; approval request filed in
`90-feedback/`. NOT published — Cali holds the veto.
