Per the sourcing floor (00-meta/specs/sources.md, changelog 2026-07-06), Wikipedia may locate a fact but the citation should point at the primary the fact rests on.

What to verify, and where:

1. NVIDIA's own naming statement. Find NVIDIA's primary announcement of the Blackwell architecture (GTC keynote materials, the NVIDIA newsroom, or the architecture whitepaper) confirming it is named for David Blackwell — and likewise the Rubin announcement naming Vera Rubin. This upgrades the etymology from Tier 4 to Tier 1.
2. Biographical firsts. Confirm from a primary or high-method secondary (UC Berkeley records, the National Academy of Sciences memoir/biographical memoir, an obituary of record) the claims that Blackwell was the first Black tenured professor at UC Berkeley and the first Black member of the NAS. These are widely repeated but recorded at Tier 4 in the note.
3. The racial-exclusion thread (optional, deeper). The capture's "further leads" note that Blackwell faced documented racial exclusion — e.g. Princeton reportedly objecting to his visiting the Institute for Advanced Study, and a delayed Berkeley appointment.
