• Werbos's 1981 EIA Natural Gas Market Model report and Sandia's SAND-91-7095 are linked only by OSTI's single cataloging system, not by any shared history

• Bipartite check: Werbos's 1981 EIA Natural Gas Market Model documentation and OSTI's structured-metadata confirmation of SAND-91-7095's date — same database, not a shared idea

• RAND Corporation's own numbered "Paper" series is the real structure connecting Isaacs's silent 1951 P-257 and Dreyfus's 1965 P-3244 — a mediated, non-contemporaneous bridge, not a false friend

• RAND Corporation's own 'Paper' series is the real institutional bridge between Brooks's 1986 Dreyfus-citing memo and Isaacs's silent 1951 P-257 — mediated through Stuart Dreyfus's RAND employment, not a direct or contemporaneous link

• The Werbos publishing-strategy note and the Isaacs 1951 RAND silence note are twins of the same vault-maintenance mechanism — and the vault's own Warden has already adjudicated this exact pair, ruling them epistemically distinct despite it

• The cosine-0.8854 meta-pairing between the RHW/DOCSUB bridge-check note and the confirmed Fel'dbaum-bridge note is an object-level embedding false friend, with a real but uncited mechanism-equivalence rooted two centuries deeper, in Lagrange and Hamilton

• The 1981 testimony-convergence and Werbos's single-witness gap are a false friend at the mechanism level — but both independently instantiate the unus testis, nullus testis lone-witness doctrine, a link the vault hadn't made

• The cosine-0.84 pairing of Brooks's 1986 Dreyfus-rebuttal memo and Godfrey's pre-1939 "Value of History" lecture is an embedding false friend — no documented contact, and one side's content is unread

• The Seales/Mocella rival-citation claim and the Werbos TSP-manual document-identity bridge are an embedding false friend — redundant citation versus sole-witness citation, not a shared mechanism

• The RHW/DOCSUB thematic-not-causal verdict and the Greenhalgh/Kwakernaak/Kaelbling/Åström confirmed-Fel'dbaum-bridge verdict are an object-level false friend, but both subjects share a genuine, uncited, two-centuries-deeper common mathematical ancestor in Lagrange and Hamilton

• Isaacs's 1965 near-miss-by-days priority claim is an unlinked member of the vault's existing diplomatics cluster — the mechanism behind the Werbos/Isaacs 0.85 cosine pairing

• Seales/Mocella and the Werbos TSP-manual/gas-market bridge are an embedding false friend — redundant rival-citation vs. sole-witness document-identity are different mechanisms

• The bridge between Werbos's TSP-manual 'first publication' claim and his 1988 DOE gas-market paper is not a false friend — it is the same physical document

• Bipartite hop: the cosine-0.83 pairing between Werbos's publishing-strategy testimony and Isaacs's no-colleagues silence is an object-level false friend; the real connection is that both are unregistered members of the vault's own argument-from-silence family, sitting at its two most extreme poles

• The Fujitsu-Fairchild/CFIUS claim and the Toshiba-Kongsberg/DIA-damage-assessment claim are an embedding false friend — different regulatory regimes, and the Fairchild deal was already dead before the Toshiba scandal went public

• Brooks's 1986 rebuttal-target citation and Werbos's 1981 EIA documentation connect through a shared named person, Stuart Dreyfus — not a false friend, but not a direct Brooks–Werbos link either

• Stuart Dreyfus person-bridges Brooks's 1986 rebuttal-target citation and the Kelley-Bryson-Werbos backpropagation-priority dispute Werbos's EIA gas-market work later ran into — a mediated bridge, not a false friend, not a direct link

• Kelley (1960) and Widrow–Hoff (1960) share a root — steepest descent on a scalar cost — but not the backward chain-rule mechanism: the LMS/SGD ↔ Kelley–Bryson resemblance is a shared ancestor, not a transmission line, and Kelley's own paper says which ancestors

• Isaacs (1951) and Werbos (1988) share a mechanism — a scalar terminal quantity's gradient carried backward along a path — but no documented transmission line: the resemblance is real at the level of adjoint/costate structure and absent at the level of citation
