A 1981 CSCE Congressional survey, drawn from Lyudmila Alekseeva's own Moscow Helsinki Group materials, independently corroborates Document No. 112's subject as Jewish discrimination in Moscow University entrance exams

"A Thematic Survey of the Documents of the Moscow Helsinki Group," published 12 May 1981 by the U.S. Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), states directly: "Document 112 is concerned with discrimination against Jews in the area of education; Moscow State University now has a system of failing Jews during entrance examinations." The survey is explicitly "based on materials by Lyudmila Alekseeva, Moscow Helsinki Group Representative," translated and edited by CSCE Commission staff — a documentary pipeline entirely independent of both Shen's 1994 account and A Chronicle of Current Events (a different compiler, a different translation chain, produced from a Moscow Helsinki Group insider's own materials rather than the periodical that assigned the document its number).

This is the third period record of Document No. 112's subject the vault holds, but only the second independent line of transmission: Document No. 112's subject — Jewish discrimination in Moscow University entrance examinations — is attested here in the survey's section on national-equality documents, alongside other Moscow Helsinki Group material on Crimean Tatar and Jewish cultural discrimination. The two Chronicle of Current Events attestations are one venue and one editorial collective, four months apart, and so count as a single pipeline.
