Lyudmila Alekseeva

Soviet historian and human-rights activist, a founding representative of the Moscow Helsinki Group (est. 1976), the body that monitored Soviet compliance with the 1975 Helsinki Final Act and numbered its own reports as a documentary series. Matters to this vault as the source whose own materials underlie "A Thematic Survey of the Documents of the Moscow Helsinki Group" (CSCE Commission, 1981) — an independent, insider-sourced corroboration of Document No. 112's subject matter, separate from both A Chronicle of Current Events and A. Shen's later account.
