Essentia Foundation's own announcement of its Essentia Books imprint — the book's publisher — states: "Irreducible will be officially launched on May 31st, 2024." Independent bookseller records (Biblio, AbeBooks) list the same publisher, ISBN 978-1803415093, and a June 2024 publication date, and Frank S. Robinson's Philosophy Now review cites the book as "(2024)."

The 2021 date carried in claim-faggin-4004-designer-argues-classical-silicon-cannot-be-conscious appears to conflate Irreducible with Faggin's earlier autobiography, Silicon: From the Invention of the Microprocessor to the New Science of Consciousness (2021) — a different book by the same author, on adjacent themes, three years earlier.
