Jaume de Haro
Spanish mathematical physicist at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya who develops a dynamical, proper-time-based reconstruction of general relativity across a chain of his own works, arguing that spacetime geometry is a derived synthesis of operational facts rather than a founding postulate. He is the lead author of "Cartographing Gravity" (de Haro & Elizalde, arXiv:2610.32569; Symmetry 2026), which rebuilds linearized GR from Spinozist "conatus" and "potentia," and he states it builds directly on his earlier single-author "A Dynamical Approach to General Relativity Based on Proper Time" (Universe 12(3):79, 2026), with a forthcoming Springer monograph (Gravitation and Cosmology: Dynamics, Geometry, and the Ontology of Spacetime, Fundamental Theories of Physics 226, in press).
He matters to this vault as the author of a self-contained GR-foundations program whose claims the vault now records across several notes. He is not Sebastian de Haro (entity-sebastian-de-haro), the Amsterdam philosopher of physics working on background-independence and black-hole information — a namesake collision worth keeping distinct in retrieval, since "de Haro" otherwise resolves to Sebastian's cluster in this vault. Because the program currently rests on his own chain of self-citations, its independent corroboration is tracked as an open question.

- Co-author named but not hubbed: Emilio Elizalde (ICE/CSIC & IEEC, Barcelona; author of a cited 2021 Springer history-of-cosmology book) — co-authorship of one paper is a mention, not a hub, until separate standing appears.
Log
- 2026-10-31: Page created at promotion of the "Cartographing Gravity" capture. Hubbed despite the co-authorship-is-a-mention rule because he has separate standing — a multi-work, single-author research program (the Universe 2026 paper and the forthcoming Springer book) — and because the namesake collision with entity-sebastian-de-haro is itself a retrieval hazard worth a disambiguating hub.
