Jérôme Besombes
Jérôme Besombes is a French information-fusion researcher who co-authored two of the "information evaluation" papers that built automated source-scoring methods on NATO's STANAG intelligence-rating doctrine: An Extension of STANAG2022 for Information Scoring (FUSION 2008, with Adrien Révault d'Allonnes) and A Semantic-Based Model to Assess Information for Intelligence (AerospaceLab / ONERA, 2012, with Laurence Cholvy and Valentina Dragos).
In this vault he is the connective author of the information-fusion-cites-STANAG cluster — the one name appearing across both the 2008 paper and the 2012 ONERA paper the vault has read directly — which is why he earns a hub rather than a co-author mention: his work recurs across two independently-read primaries, not one. He is the thread on which the vault's finding that this sub-literature inherited its two-axis source model from doctrine, rather than rediscovering it, actually hangs.
