Laurence Cholvy
Laurence Cholvy is a French computer scientist at ONERA (the French aerospace research establishment) whose work on logic and information evaluation runs through the core of the FUSION / NATO-RTO "information evaluation" literature: she co-authored Information Evaluation: discussion about STANAG 2022 Recommendations (NATO RTO IST Symposium, 2003, with Vincent Nimier), further information-fusion work in 2007, and A Semantic-Based Model to Assess Information for Intelligence (ONERA, 2012, with Jérôme Besombes and Valentina Dragos).
In this vault she is the foundational, recurring figure the STANAG-citation lineage is organized around — named across three cluster papers spanning 2003–2012 — and she is deliberately promoted despite the blind-spot risk of under-catching upstream figures. Her 2003 paper (with Nimier) is the earliest and most explicitly STANAG-focused item in the cluster, and the one the vault has not been able to read directly; her 2012 paper, read directly, is the primary that anchors the whole finding.
