Lutz Bornmann
Bibliometrician who, with Johann Bauer, independently re-derived Highly-Cited-Researcher counts per institution directly from the original 2014 Thomson Reuters list (arXiv:1407.2037) — using a different counting convention (all listed affiliations, not just the primary one) that puts King Abdulaziz University at #2 worldwide, an order of magnitude above the "primary affiliation" count the rest of the vault's Saudi-HCR cluster tracks. The clean demonstration that a bibliometric figure is only as meaningful as the counting rule behind it.
