Niels Bohr
Danish physicist (1885–1962) and one of the principal architects of quantum mechanics, originator of the Bohr model of the atom and, with colleagues, of the Copenhagen interpretation's doctrine of complementarity. In the vault he appears as the figure whose measurement-theory views Yakir Aharonov spent much of his career arguing against — after a single 1950s meeting in Copenhagen in which Bohr reportedly lectured Aharonov on measurement theory for an hour rather than hearing the specific problem Aharonov had brought him.
