Robert Nozick

American political philosopher (1938–2002), author of Anarchy, State, and Utopia (1974), one of the 20th century's best-known defenses of minimal-state libertarianism.

Matters to this vault as the source of the "genetic supermarket" thought experiment — a 1974 footnote imagining reproductive choice organized by individual specification rather than central planning — which this session traced forward through Nicholas Agar's "liberal eugenics" to Jonathan Anomaly's present-day defense of an actual AI-driven embryo-selection company.
