Paul Dong and Thomas E. Raffill's China's Super Psychics (Marlowe & Company, New York, 1997) devotes its entire Chapter 2, "Professor Qian Xuesen Supports Psychic Research" (pp. 20–40), to Qian Xuesen's advocacy of what the book calls EHF (Exceptional/Extraordinary Human Function) — its own English rendering of the term Wikipedia's article glosses as "special human body functions." The chapter reproduces a bibliography, organized under "Reports on EHF," "Reports on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chi Gong Theory," and "Reports on Human Body Science (Somatic Science)," of seventeen research papers and sixteen conference speeches the authors attribute to Qian between 1980 and 1988 — including "EHF Research Has Great Meaning" (Beijing Keji, July 18, 1980), "This is the Birth of a New Scientific Revolution" (EHF Yanjiu vol. 1, 1983), and "The Human Body is a Complex Macrosystem" (speech, April 25, 1988). It also gives extended translated quotations attributed to Qian directly, including: "the facts demonstrate that practicing chi gong gives rise to EHF. This is a task with far-reaching implications. We must exert every effort in this!"

This is the most substantial documentation located by any vault session of Qian's actual publication record on somatic science, and it corroborates Wikipedia's general claim — the 1980s timeline, the EHF/qigong/TCM linkage, the "new scientific revolution" framing — independently of either of Wikipedia's own two footnoted primaries (Qian's 1989 book and the 2009 American Journal of Chinese Medicine article), neither of which any vault session has yet obtained.
