Papert's constructionism inverts instructionism: 'the child programs the computer,' not the reverse
Seymour Papert extended Jean Piaget's constructivism — knowledge is built, not transmitted — into what he named constructionism: knowledge is built most effectively while the learner is building something real and shareable in the world.
