Falk Lieder

Cognitive scientist, co-originator (with Thomas L. Griffiths) of resource-rational analysis, the paradigm that explains human cognition as the optimal use of limited computational resources (Lieder & Griffiths, Behavioral and Brain Sciences 43, e1, 2020). He leads the Rationality Enhancement group (MPI for Intelligent Systems, Tübingen). He is the lead author of the primary the vault read directly to resolve whether resource-rational analysis bridges Werbos's ADP and Anderson's rational analysis.
