Harold ("Hal") Puthoff, in his own account ("CIA-Initiated Remote Viewing At Stanford Research Institute"), founded the CIA-initiated remote-viewing program at SRI International in 1972: "I had founded the program in early 1972, and had acted as its Director until I left in 1985." The effort — one of the Cold War's best-documented psychic-espionage research programs — later ran under DIA leadership as, in his words, "a DIA program called Star Gate." Thirty-eight years later, the same physicist was listed on the cover — "Author: H.E. Puthoff, Ph.D. / EarthTech International, Inc." — of a Defense Intelligence Reference Document on spacetime-metric engineering, antigravity, and warp-drive physics, dated 29 March 2010 and delivered through his own firm, EarthTech International, as part of AATIP's $22M theoretical-physics report series.
