Clark's 2016 essay describes unnamed "Dutch authors" of a paper Song Jian encountered at Helsinki in 1978. The vault's current best reading favors Geert Jan Olsder and R.C.W. Strijbos as the referents (a textual match on "fictional island" framing, and a plural matching their two-author paper), but Kwakernaak — co-cited in the same Greenhalgh footnote 43 — is not fully ruled out as a second candidate for Clark's "authors," since his own 1977 paper's framing has not been read directly by any session.
